Since the opening of their bookstore in 2004, Edito Floris of Maplewood, New Jersey has made many floral friends.
Isabel Gilbert Palmer & Sophie Westacott Basile work together to bring an informative and utterly inspiring choice of Books and Magazines to the Floral World of North America.
With an ongoing and particular passion for Belgian Design per se ,they began with Belgian Floral designers( check their coding for books and magazines. found in flanders refers to those published in belgium) but of late have opened their collection to include Japanese Design. and a handful of other International titles . They strongly believe they have captured the essence of the best and better design, by concentrating on design from both corners of the West and East in their collection.
In the meantime Isabel and Sophie are currently reorganising ..yes again ...we want to be as lean and as sleek as possible and NOT another of those floral design website that are choked with titles and contents that are not even that good !(our opinion...) or more of the same and are often just vanity publications stumped up by those with deep pockets and penchant for floral fame.
So you may see less titles on our site but what you will see are the best books we believe are worthwhile and we will tell you why. An absence of books on our shelves (that you might discover elsewhere,) will speak for themselves.
any questions.
